It's just a fuel filter, but who knew. :D At 12 EUR, probably the cheapest part you can find in those cars, too. Also on the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! are Volvos, Fords ranging from Capri to Transit, Pug 505 and of course, the rest of !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .
Anyway, here's to !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! for passing our equivalent of MOT this year, even though he puked some coolant on the inspection strip. I messed up the relay positions, so there was no fan action and, yeah, well.
May we share many a kilometer more, old buddy. :]
Above: Flüela pass, 8am, 14th August 2013 :) Me, girlfriend, brother, friend. His Peugeot 206, my SAAB 9000.
I did manage to mend some stuff before inspection, which was a nice way to relax after exams at faculty. I now have a working third brake light (rusty contacts, broken clip), aligned lights (broken thingamabob), water temp gauge & central locking (gremlins come, gremlins go...) and headlight wipers removed (notorious defect). Exhaust that is no longer shared off directly after the silencer is nice as well. I do miss some of the crackle-popping that happened when it started to go. Got me all giddy. :)
I wish I could wrench on it more, but it's not often I get to take the time and have access to all the tools and space needed. Any city-dwelling Opponauts have advice on how to overcome this with barely any money to spare?
May your mid-week be bearable.
Cheers,
Oskar
